We’re Afra and Jonathan – partners in life and now in business, brought together by a shared love for food, family, and tradition.

Our story begins in kitchens and on farmlands. Afra grew up surrounded by the rich aromas and flavours of authentic Italian cuisine. Her mother founded Cremalat Cheese, a beloved South African supplier of premium Italian goods. From a young age, Afra learned the value of quality ingredients and the magic of gathering around good food.

Jonathan, on the other hand, comes from a family of farmers. He spent his days in the fields, understanding where food comes from and the importance of honest, hands-on work. His deep connection to the land taught him that the best ingredients start with care, respect, and sustainability.

Together, we’re blending our backgrounds to create something new — a business built on heritage, heart, and a genuine passion for food. We believe in bringing people together through unforgettable experiences, whether it’s a bite of something delicious or a moment shared over a meal.
